In case a special sketch/mock up of your custom item is needed, a $25 non-refundable deposit that can be applied towards your order will be charged.
Unfortunately the design is a major part of the work and time consuming, eventually.

In new jewelry the engraving is silver colored or bright.
This looks noble, but it's not exactly obvious. It's silver color embedded in silver color after all.
The engraving will darken with time. It may take days or weeks and reach its final dark color on its own.
Then the engraving stands out and is more obvious.
However, if you prefer to get this more obvious look from the beginning, you may want to order the dark engraving.
Then I use techniques to make the engraving dark from the beginning.

Please keep in mind that metal, when it comes in contact with air or the oils of your skin, does tarnish or darken. Darkened metal is a natural process and it depends on each individual person how long it will take before your piece tarnishes.
It can be brought to shine again by polishing with a silver cleaning cloth. Cleaning cloths often are available in good groceries or a jewelry shop.
I recommend that customers remove jewelry before going to bed, taking a bath or shower or participating in physical activity.
Exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the integrity of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine and salt water.

Everything costs extra but the product is not worth the extra costs. I rarely give one star reviews but I would give this seller zero stars if I could. If you contact this seller with an issue (as her listing requests) she will reply curtly, refuse to take responsibility, insult you and tell you to stop harassing her. She has expressed that my rating is “revenge” but that is incorrect. I can only speak to the quality of the item and the service I received. Both are terrible. I have no power to “ruin” her reputation. She is doing that to herself. If a seller doesn't provide a good product/service they get bad ratings. I'm not the only one giving her one star. I wish I had read her many other one star reviews (and her harsh responses) before buying. Buyer beware!

Long story short.... When receiving her order, the buyer was very happy and wrote, "I received these lovely necklaces today." It was until she realised that she had provided the wrong dates for engraving. She then demanded new necklaces for free, which I refused, because it was not my mistake. Then the drama started ..... Endless emails and reviews full of harassment and false statements. So sad ... I am very proud of my jewelry and my many, many customers who love and appreciate my work and craftsmanship. Lots of hundreds of good reviews here and thousands on other platforms are proof for this.

The listing explicitly describes and explains the difference between a bright and dark engraving. Examples showing the difference unambiguously are also pictured. The customer chose the bright engraving instead of the dark variant. It's quite unfair to complain about her own choice and mistake now. The chain is a sturdy solid 925 sterling silver chain, which is as well clearly visible in the pictures of the listing and matches the pendant perfectly.
