International customers please be aware that any CUSTOMS DUTIES and TAXES are the BUYERS responsibility. Please see your country's rules regarding importing for customs and duties before purchasing. In the event that duties are unpaid by the buyer and the parcel is returned to me a refund will be issued for the purchase price ONLY minus shipping fees and any additional fees incurred. A refund will be issued once the parcel has been RECEIVED, undamaged and in its original condition.

Contents of parcels must be inspected and any damage reported at time of delivery.

I always ship to the customers Etsy address, if you address is not current and your item has been sent there I will not accept responsibility for the loss.

I cannot be held responsible for any lost or misplaced packages
If you wish to have your package sent insured, I can arrange it for you.

I do not ship to drop-shippers or third party mail forwarding services.

I do not refund for unclaimed or undeliverable packages due to absence or incorrect/incomplete addresses etc. Any costs for recovering the parcel will be deducted from the initial purchase price.

PACKAGING POLICY ;

Fragile items require adequate packaging to ensure that they survive their long journey to your door, this usually requires the use of some form of plastic based packaging.
I use secondhand packaging wherever possible.
I work closely with local shops and businesses sourcing clean, pre-used cardboard, bubblewrap and polystyrene, giving used packaging a second life rather than sending it to landfill.
UPDATE ; 2019 sees Shabby French Vintage investing in an 100% electric, zero emissions delivery van.

Please notify me at the time of purchase if you wish to establish a sales invoice in a name other than the shipping address. My invoices are automatically generated and cannot be altered after the fact.
