It was embroidered by hand using cotton embroidery floss on off-white linen. It uses various greys, pink, black, and green floss. It's stretched in a wooden hoop with extra fabric on the back to protect the stitching. The fabrics have been glued to the frame for reinforcement. Each piece is signed on the back.

The hoop is roughly 4" in diameter (not including the turnkey at the top) and 0.5" deep. There's a lip in the back for displaying on the wall with a single nail or you could hang it from the turnkey. It’s lightweight and props up against something easily.

This piece is one of a kind.

I love this piece. It's so detailed and beautiful—the little hand even has nail polish! I've wanted to buy one of these for awhile, and seeing it in person helped seal the deal. If you love embroidery, emoji, and free-form compositions these are wonderful objects to own.
