**Vermeil gold is made from a sterling silver 925 base whose surface areas have been plated with 14K gold that is at least 2.5 microns thick.

**Gold filled (G/F) products consist of a layer of 14K gold that is pressure bonded to another metal. G/F is one of the most valuable and tarnish resistant processes for creating gold jewellery. If properly cared for, your G/F jewellery can last for a lifetime. G/F jewellery is an economical alternative to solid gold.

It's cute, love the shape of the eye and the size of it. However my hair time to time get's tangle with the chain and the inside of they eye can snag on any collar of a shirt or even my body wash gloves when I shower.
