These adorable free-standing stained glass birds look great on a windowsill, desk, or tabletop! Each bird measures approximately 4 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall. They come in the six colors shown as follows: (The price listed is for ONE bird.)

**NOTE--These and several other colors of birds are available directly on my website at stainedglassyourway.com (under the "Standing Bird" section), including custom birthstone colors for creating a bird "family" with Momma/Daddy, brother/sister, and baby bird sizes.

Each has a yellow opalescent glass beak (the yellow one has a black beak). 16 gauge wire is bent and soldered on for the legs. The colored swirls in the opalescent glass in yours will be slightly different than the ones pictured, as each piece of this type of glass is unique.

Please note that these are for display/decorative purposes only and are not children's toys, and that excessive bending of the wire legs could damage them.

Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)

Clean the glass with a soft DRY cloth if smudged or dirty. It is normal for the solder and framing to dull/tarnish over time. You can choose to let it age naturally, or you can clean/polish it with a stained glass polish. Car wax works well too.

Hanging Tips: Hang indoors on windows or doors that are not opened/moved frequently.
Suction cup hangers should only be used for pieces weighing less than two pounds. Clean window well before adhering suction cup. Wipe a VERY thin film of cooking oil on inside of cup for better adhesion. Check cup bond periodically.

To prevent warping, rectangular panels should be hung from TWO separate chains/wires from eyehooks installed into your window frame so that they are vertical to the piece.

Part of the beauty of stained glass is how it takes on different appearances in different lighting and angles. This can also make it challenging to photograph. I make every effort to portray accurate colors in the photos on each listing. However, due to the inherent nature of stained glass, as well as the variations inherent in different computer monitors, actual colors may appear slightly different in your home than what is shown in my shop photos. I do believe you will find that each item will actually look BETTER in person than in the photos! (At least that's what my customers have told me!)

I ship all items in very well-padded packaging, as I want to be sure they arrive safely! Most items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. Jewelry is shipped via USPS 1st Class Mail with tracking.

I use recycled boxes when possible to help keep costs down as well as help the environment.

In the rare event that your item arrives damaged, I require that you please notify me via Etsy message within 5 calendar days of receipt (as indicated by USPS tracking) and include photos of the damaged piece and packaging. Please keep all original packaging as you will need to bring it in with the damaged item to the post office for inspection for insurance claim processing before I can refund or replace it.

If USPS tracking shows your package has not yet been delivered after 7 days, please contact me so that I can place a tracer on it. If USPS deems the package LOST after they complete their investigation, I will replace or refund (your choice).

If tracking shows that your package has been delivered, but you do not have it, please check with your neighbors, other members of your household, and your local Post Office to try to locate it. If you cannot locate it after 7 days, you can place a tracer on it through USPS. If the tracer is unsuccessful, the package is considered STOLEN. Stolen packages are NOT covered by USPS insurance or replaced/refunded by me. You should file a police report for theft and contact your credit card company.
