Fine, high-quality prayer beads, so-called Mala, with 108 beads made from the seeds of the Rudraksha shrub, handmade in Nepal.
In the Himalayas, these prayer beads are popular with both Buddhists and Hindus, with Buddhists preferring the Bodhi-Mala and Hindus the Rudraksha-Mala.
Hindus see the 108 beads of the necklace as the 108 names of Shiva, which are invoked in his name.
The Rudraksha is the only plant that has seeds with a natural hole in the middle.
The mala is approximately 80 cm long.
The individual beads have a diameter of approximately 8 mm.
The necklace is handmade from natural products, so slight variations may occur.
