Your Size and Colors ?

the color/size of the product may be slightly different from the one in the listing's picture due to different monitor settings and/or different plating process or different vendor's manufacturing machine. Plating Color is different as pictured, not actually a intensity of Color. A color difference will not be considered a defect. We try our best to update our listings to the closest inch and gauge unit for customers based in countries, such as the United States, using the Imperial Measurement System. Please use the following measurements as a general guide to understand the size approximations: 26gauge = about 0.4mm 24gauge = about 0.5mm 22gauge = about 0.6mm 21gauge = about 0.7mm 20gauge = about 0.8mm 18gauge = about 1.0mm, etc.

Your Gold and Silver Plated Material ?

Tarnishing is a common occurrence in many chains, especially those that are plated. The only types of chain that will not tarnish are gold-fill and sterling silver (silver does tarnish, but it can be easily cleaned off). Our stainless steel never tarnishes as it is not plated, further ensuring its durability. The longevity of the chain's quality depends on how the chain is worn and the maintenance of it. The chain will tarnish, but depending on how well it is handled, the original quality can last from one day to even a year. Electroplated chains tarnish rapidly under both hot and humid conditions. Any moisture (e.g. water, sweat) will further the oxidation process. If this is a major concern, please not purchase plated chain/findings.

The link size of the chain/material size of findings stated on listings only refers to the width and length; it is not an exact number. At the time of manufacturing, the metric system uniformly sized items. Every inch unit is an estimate of the Int'l Standard Unit, mm. Using the Imperial Measurement System, we try our best to update our listings to the closest inch and gauge unit. We do not supply parts and pieces that are precise enough to go into satellites or other delicate machinery. In addition, the size of the parts we supply may have an error rate of about +/-5%. If you are seeking a product with a precise measurement or would like to know the exact measurement of a product, please make sure to contact us before purchasing.

Unsoldered Link Chain Policy

Understanding Unsoldered Link Chains: Unsoldered link chains are a cost-effective option for those seeking a versatile jewelry accessory. However, it's crucial to recognize that unsoldered link chains are inherently different from soldered chains in terms of strength and durability. Limitations of Unsoldered Link Chains: Unsoldered link chains consist of individual links that are not permanently fused together. As a result, these chains may be more prone to breakage when subjected to excessive force, such as pulling or hanging pendants or heavy objects.

Unsoldered Link Chain Policy

Our Recommendation: While unsoldered link chains offer affordability and flexibility, they may not be suitable for all applications, especially those requiring a strong and secure connection. If you intend to use your chain for heavy pendants or require maximum durability, we highly recommend considering our selection of soldered link chains. Customer Awareness: We want our customers to make informed decisions when purchasing jewelry from GemPlus24. Please be aware that the breaking of an unsoldered link chain under stress or force does not constitute a defect or problem with the chain itself. It is simply a characteristic of its design and construction.
