Return policies - Return Goods Authorization number and time frame requirements

You must request a return and we will issue you an RGA number. Without an approved RGA, we won't issue credit. All custom orders and Rushed orders are non returnable. All other items are made to order and subject to a 30% restock fee for resalable products. Many Items can't be refunded. Ask if you don't know. Additionally, you won't be refunded the outbound shipping charges that I absorbed in the transaction, as well as the return shipping to my shop. You should use a new shipping carton. Attempting to use the original carton may lead to damages. We can't refund you on damaged products. The returned package should not have a signature requirement.

All of our products are made to order. Cancellations will not be accepted after the items are in production status, which is one day after your order is placed. If you have a pressing issue, please convo us. If we not too far into the production process, we might be able to cancel your order with a 30% cancellation fee.

Shipping location limitations & Signature Requirements

We ship within the lower 48 United States, which our internal shipping rates are based on. For orders from Alaska, Hawaii and APO's, we will contact you at the time of shipping, if our shipping cost will not cover the cost of shipping to those remote locations. If you feel that your order needs a signature during the delivery, please add a Note to Seller with your order with those instructions. It will increase the cost of shipping to you, but some of our customers feel that it's important for their physical location. Shipments that are damaged are not my shops issue. They are the carriers fault and the claims will be handled by UPS or USPS. If your item is damaged, please keep the shipping carton. I will help with the settlement.

Wood dimensions vary within the lumber industry. If you need exact dimensions for a custom order, please contact us to discuss. We advertise most of our shelf depths and lengths as actual dimensions to reduce confusion for customers that don't purchase wood very frequently.

Shipping Address updates after order entry.

We are not responsible for increased shipping costs or delays in shipping due to inaccurate information. Attempts to update shipping information on Etsy's conversation program doesn't link to the order entry program. Therefore, please verify that your shipping address is correct. Shipping information updates will likely be overlooked.

The images are representations of how our products will appear when installed. Please read the listing description, as many of the pictures will have multiple items, but the listing may be for only one item. We purchase rustic wood from a Certified Forestry Initiative supporting mill and forest. That gives you the reassurance that our products are manufactured under sustainable guidelines and procedures. Our rustic wood has character and a personality of it's own. Along the board face and edges, it may have surface hairline cracks, knots, minimal wrap or bowing, and some saw marks. It accepts wood stain easily, and provides the depth and warmth of the early industrial and farmhouse period. It's the latest decor flair, which we have many of our items proudly displayed in our home. Remember that "wood is wood". It varies from board to board. It will meet #2 wood straightness standards.

We can't warrant the product performance over the long term. If you discover some issues with your product, please request a return within the timeline of the return policies. The wood that we ship will be in accordance to our product listing details. As mentioned elsewhere, it is not fine furniture. It is rustic in nature, and will have a matte finish. The wood doesn't have a glossy sealer on the surface. Our designers do not accept glossy finish, so we expect our on-line customers to be shipped the same product that we ship to our retail designers. The products might have some minimal sanding on edges and ends to fit the natural decor vibe.

No warranty is expressed or implied with the product. Please see our return polices for buyer remorse requests. We can't warranty custom orders or rushed orders.

Return shipments due to incorrect address or refushed shipments

For shipments that are returned due to incorrect address or refused shipments will have a 30% restock fee plus outbound and return shipping cost if the item in in resalable condition. If the item is damaged during transit, the restock fee will be adjusted accordingly.

The stained and hand rubbed rustic wood base doubles as a shelf for your shoes and other items. The base has four non metallic "feet" to keep from scratching your wood floors.

We use rustic pinewood from a Sustainable Forestry Initiative member. We also coat the pipe three times to retard any oxidization. Our flat matte finish is perfect for those who prize the look of natural wood. Unlike shiny finishes, which can be distracting, flat or matte finishes leave a smooth surface while capturing all the rich colors wood has to offer.

WOOD CHARACTERISTICS:

Certified Forestry Initiative member wood is used. It is solid lob lolly pine wood. We include complete description of the characteristics of our rustic wood in our shop FAQ's. The board might have helical head planer circles, bowing, warping, twisting, circular planing marks, mill marks, etc, that truly distinguish it as rustic wood. We hand rub two coats of stain. The rustic wood will have a flat matte finish, which adds to the warmth of the rustic, farmhouse, and industrial decor vibe. We don't apply a clear poly coat to our rustic wood, which yellows quickly. Our designer feels that a glossy shiny finish distracts from the warmth. We include some care guidelines with our installation packet. If you want more luster to the shelf, the premium furniture polish helps condition the wood. We also recommend beeswax for conditioning as a eco friendly alternative.

SHIPPING METHODS:

We ship almost exclusively via UPS Ground. We cannot ship to PO Boxes; therefore, we need your street address. It is difficult to change shipping address after you enter the order, so please make sure that your profile address is up to date. We can’t offer our free shipping program to AK, HI, PR or APO addresses. Please contact us and we can discuss the extra shipping charge to those locations. We don’t ship to international locations currently.

SHIPPING TIMETABLE:

We are shipping our orders in just over one week currently. We usually can RUSH an order but contact us before you order.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellation requests are limited to 24 hours after order entry. We start the order process the next day after order entry. Since we are a “made to order” shop, and don’t maintain any inventory, once the order is in process, we can’t accept cancellations.

EXCHANGES and RETURNS:

Exchanges and Returns are not offered for this product.

The quality of this item is really nice. But they did not include any screws to attach the bases to the board. Finding a wood screw that fit the base washer and didnt go through the board was a pain. For the price I would expect them to be included.
