PDF Sewing Pattern - BYOB Wine Bottle Bag Purse (you make it)

I designed this bag pattern to be a one-bag solution purse/ BYO wine bottle carrier for nights out at a restaurant.
It has since proven great for many things:

--A small baby bag enough for one diaper, one bottle, and your wallet/keys for when you don't need a whole big diaper bag

--A purse that can hold your water bottle upright with room for other things in 2 other compartments

--A gift-in-a-gift to present 1 red, 1 white, and a gift certificate to a favorite BYOB.

Finished bag is fully lined with no raw edges. Does not need interfacing if using heavier fabrics like denim or canvas. (I tend to use decorator fabrics and choose to interface.)

With practice, this whole bag comes together in less than an hour. Great for making craft show inventory.

Large interior double pocket with two sections made to fit most wine bottles and a third main compartment to hold whatever. Strap length is 25", length can be altered when cutting the pattern. A snap tab top allows bottle necks to pop out of the top.

Fabric requirements:
3/4 yard medium-weight fabric for exterior (either 45 or 60” fabric). 3/4 yard light- to medium-weight fabric for lining (either 45 or 60” fabric).
This yardage allows enough fabric to match most patterns, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.
Notions:
Thread, one magnetic snap.
Optional:
Fusible interfacing for exterior pieces for stiffer bag. Small piece of felt as extra “washer” for snap.

There are only THREE basic shapes to cut to make this bag! This bag pattern is easy enough that you will enjoy making it often. Have fun embellishing this simple bag shape with additional features and your own personal touches.
