A trio of cute little farm animals, perfect for tiny hands to play with. These toys are quick to knit, and good for using up small amounts of yarn. Make them with textured yarn for more interest, or a soft organic cotton that will withstand plenty of drool! The animals' features are all embroidered, and there are no small pieces to worry about. You can also try knitting them from different yarn weights, with appropriate needles, to get larger or smaller animals.

Materials
Pig: 15g of white worsted weight yarn, yarn to embroider face, stuffing, pair of 4mm (US size 6) needles, two 4mm double pointed needles (dpns), darning needle.
Sheep: 15g of white (W) worsted weight yarn, 10g of gray (G) worsted weight yarn, yarn to embroider face, stuffing, pair of 4mm (US size 6) needles, two 4mm dpns, darning needle.
Chicken: 15g of brown worsted weight yarn, yarn to embroider face, stuffing, pair of 4mm (US size 6) needles, darning needle.

Measurements
Pig: 3" tall, 4" long
Sheep: 4" tall, 4.5" long
Chicken: 3" tall, 3" long
