Cathy Heno Suffel Pencil Signed Serigraph - Whimsical Circus Clown - Limited Edition Print by Texas Artist - Colorful Unframed Matted Art

This contemporary serigraph is begging to be re-matted and framed. It is a limited edition, 25/41, numbered and signed "Suffel" in pencil by Texas artist, Cathy Heno Suffel. As you can see, the subject is a very colorful circus clown on a penny-farthing bicycle. Obviously, this artwork is not for the timid. It's made to grab somebody's attention and to make them smile.

The serigraph is done on a heavy rag, acid-free paper, in red, orange, yellow, green, white and navy blue. If I had to guess, I'd say this was most likely made during the 1970s. What a great painting for a child's room or for anybody who loves clowns, the circus or who just appreciates bright colors and fun, whimsical art.

Condition: Excellent! All it needs is a frame! There is a double mat--the inside mat is a deep navy blue and the outer mat is sunshine yellow. The print was attached to a piece of cardboard with masking tape. The tape has come loose but another piece of masking tape will fix that (I did not re-tape). The only real flaw and it's hard to see is a small water stain on the lower left corner of the yellow mat. Once it is framed that will probably be totally hidden. This artwork and the mat are both really about perfect.
