Custom and personalized orders

I am open to consider any custom and personalized orders. Please send me a convo with your request and I will let you know if possible. I will do my best to create what you are looking for and will send you photos during the process so you understand what will be the final result. No cancellations after work is in progress. Returns of custom made orders are not accepted.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Each piece of jewelry comes with its own beautiful dark blue suede pouch with the ILIOS logo stamped in gold. It is accompanied by a small card with the story of Ilios, authenticating the jewelry is completely handmade in the Mediterranean. It is then carefully packed in bubble wrap for shipping. Gift wrapping is offered with two design choices of beautiful Italian wrapping paper with gold ribbon. Let me know your preference in the notes of your order when checking out.

SHIPPING FROM GREECE BY INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL WITH TRACKING. Delivery dates are estimates not guarantees. I am not responsible for delays by shipping companies, post offices or customs. If you do not receive your order within 30 days please contact your local post office with the tracking number to reschedule delivery or pick up. If it has still not arrived, please contact me before 30 days to track it for you. Delivery times vary by destination and may take longer than expected. Packages will not be deemed lost before 90 days in transit. I can also ship with couriers like DHL or Fedex. Let me know if you would like a quote. Shipments by courier will not be refunded.

Undelivered and Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned due to the customer providing a wrong address, being unclaimed or failure to pay any customs fees, I’ll resend the item to the correct address, after payment of the reshipment fee. If the customer prefers to cancel the order, a refund will be granted less original shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee when I receive the returned order. No cancellations or refunds will be made if the customer has given an incorrect address. Once your order is confirmed, it is advised to track it with the tracking number as often as possible to know when your package will be delivered. No refunds will be granted if tracking shows package as delivered. No refunds for packages returned to me twice after two attempted shipments.

Returns and Exchanges

I accept returns or exchanges for any undamaged merchandise that doesn't work for you. You must request authorization within 3 days of delivery and specify your reason. You will then receive the return instructions. Approved returns must be shipped by post only, within 14 days in original condition and with a tracking number. Returns by courier are not accepted. After inspection, a store credit or refund (less shipping/customs fees) will be issued. Customers cover return shipping costs. Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Unapproved returns after the 14 day return window will only receive a 50% refund. No returns or refunds are accepted after 120 days from delivery date. Please allow 7 days to process the refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

In the rare occasion you receive an item damaged in shipment or defective, please contact me with a photo of the item within 3 days of delivery. You will be able to return it for a replacement or refund including return shipping by 1st class mail only. Refund of shipping will not exceed this rate. Being handmade sometimes items are not broken but just need a small adjustment. If you prefer to adjust it to save the time and trouble of returning it, I will be happy to inform you what is needed. If you still prefer to return it, you must contact me first to receive my authorization with the return instructions. I will refund or credit you as soon as I receive it. It must be sent back to me to the address provided within 7 days of its delivery.

Mail and Package Search

If you haven't received your order within 30 days, please inform me and I will search for it and let you know. If a formal investigation is required the post office charges a fee and can only be submitted 30 days from the original post date. If the tracking does not result in being still in transit or delivered, Ilios Shop will cover the cost of the investigation. If the tracking shows it has been delivered, the customer is responsible for the fee. If the investigation results that I am responsible for the package not being delivered, I will offer a full refund when it is returned to me. No refunds will be granted if tracking shows package as delivered. No refunds will be made for undelivered orders or returned items after 120 days.

The express mail option I offer at a minimal fee is to put the order ahead of all previous orders and ship the same day or next day if I receive the order after 1pm my time. If you are interested to receive a quote for shipping by a private international courier please contact me before placing your order.

In the case of Force Majeure or Act of God as in unforeseeable events outside my control I will not be held responsible.

Ancient Greek Coin Bracelet with Goddess Athena by Ilios on 24K Gold Vermeil Chain

This unique bracelet is handmade in Greece with a pendant that represents one of the first ancient Greek coins minted between 510-550BC for the city of Athens. It features the Greek Goddess Athena on one side and a lyre with ancient Greek letters on the other. The pendant is made of sterling silver with a 24K gold vermeil border

About the ancient Greek coin of Athena:
As the patron Greek goddess of Athens, it is only natural to see the head of Athena depicted on the first ancient coins of the city. The first Greek coins were minted on the Greek island of Aegina from 560 BCE, and then Athens and Corinth shortly after. Each city selected an identifiable symbol and soon produced their own coins often with images from Greek mythology. Later, letters and short inscriptions were added to signify the issuing authority.

She was highly esteemed by the Greeks for she personified the most important ideals of the ancient Greek spirit, prudence and bravery.
