This wedding band for men with a black plating is made from 925 sterling silver. The ring has a brushed matte finish that is obtained by our special plating technique. A deep charcoal color coats the entire surface. The ring will transition into a rustic antique finish and eventually all of the precious sterling silver metal will come through giving the ring charming character.

This band is a dark grayish black shade rather than jet black. The ring will transition into a rustic antique finish and eventually all of the precious sterling silver metal will come through giving the ring charming character.
We plate the ring in a thick layer but the plated surface longevity will depend on the person's wearing conditions. Frequent or major scratches and exposure to chemicals and excessive moisture will help to accelerate the wear. The black plating will scratch when it comes into contact with metal or sharp objects.
