This print is a reproduction from the original painting in 'The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America' by naturalist John James Audubon, originally published 1845-1848. This is plate No. 14 in the series, and features male Black Wolf.

I like action prints of animals- paintings, drawings or photographs of animals in their natural habitat. I got just that in this art print. It’s beautiful. The Black Wolf is such a supreme animal. This print shows the aforementioned leaping/running in nature. There’s color variation thanks to the inclusion of grasses, earth and the sun close to the horizon. The print was securely packaged and shipping was prompt. I’ll purchase from this merchant again.
