Wood Cross / Crucifix Layered Cross

Handmade wooden cross from 30 individually cut pieces of wood
Each piece of wood is then hand sanded, stained with a variety of different
colors of stain, assembled and then sprayed with a lacquer spray that brings
out the colors of the cross, but it is not overly glossy.

18 inches tall
10-1/4 inches wide

Size may vary slightly due to these being handmade, but not enough to even notice.
You may see some glue on the back of the cross, this is completely normal.
If you see red flakes or tiny spots on the outer layer, this is totally normal as
that is the pigment colorant in the stain used on the outer layer.

The last picture showing shows the back of the cross.
This is to show you the method of hanging I use.
It is a simple hole that the cross can be hung with. You can
however hang it any way you wish :o)

Base/Stand for Cross. I have recently added this for those people who wish to place the cross on a stand/base instead of hanging it on the wall. If you have purchased one of my crosses in the past and would like a stand/Base for it the link is below.

It has slot that the bottom of the cross fits into. Each cross is individually made
and since this is case, the cross may go all the way to the bottom of the slot or it
may not go down inside the slot all the way to the bottom. The slot holds the cross
pretty steady and the slot is a pretty tight fit. So your cross may or may not go all the
way down inside the slot and this is perfectly ""normal"" :o)
