INSTRUCTIONS
The awl is used for punching holes in leather while stitching, it matches either pricking iron you choose and provides clean and neat holes for stitches. It can also be used under the condition of punching prick- ing iron from both sides of the leather. Keep the end of handle in your palm to force and index finger against the side of blade to control.
The awl can be used for marking and composition on the leather, keep the awl point close to the pattern and mark on the leather surface.
MAINTENANCE SKILL
1. To maintain metal parts, please keep it dry from being rusted after used. Metal parts will be rusted if it's put in wet environment for long, you can use sandpaper or rust remove paste to sand it down.
2. When the blade is blunt, you can use knife strop board or metal polishing paste to polish it. If the fore- going method dosen't work, please try grindstone or sandpaper for resharpening.
