This "Spoonie Necklace" is made with love from a fellow Spoonie (me!).

INCLUDES:
- One 18" soft nylon black cord with lobster closure (can do custom size if included in the notes). (or 1” standard keychain.)
- One 1" glass bottle containing silver colored spoon that is corked and sealed with black wax, and hand-painted Zebra stripes. Includes a sticker that reads, "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, BREAK GLASS".
- One Hammer style and color of your choosing: traditional hammer in bronze, traditional hammer in silver, or a Norse hammer in silver.

All items are hand made by me and may be slightly different from pictures shown. Each piece has unique wax and zebra pattern. If you have any questions or requests, please send me a message.

It can refer to any individual who suffers from a chronic illness. The term “spoonie” originated from The Spoon Theory, a blog post written by Christine Miserandino. Essentially, the Spoon Theory illustrates the challenges that someone living with a chronic illness faces every day. Each day, spoonies have a limited amount of energy and ability. This energy is represented by a handful of spoons. Activities of daily living take away “spoons.” This makes it harder for chronic patients to keep up with daily tasks and responsibilities.
