Copper jewelry gives my skin a greenish tone during prolonged use. How can I prevent this?

Toning of the skin caused by copper jewelry is a harmless and temporary inconvenience. A simple solution to this is to apply a thin coat of clear nail polish on the inside of the ring to prevent oxidation of the copper on your fingers. I personally prefer to keep Rings natural, unsealed and free of polymers.

Do you make custom orders?

Yes but please allow me more than 2 weeks to process your request. I cannot be held liable if your item does not arrive before your special event or holiday. When I use my own coins to make rings, I occasionally come across a piece that exhibits cracks or fissures during the manufacturing process. These rings are scrapped and I absorb the costs. I have a varied assortment of world coins to work with. I may have something special that you’re looking for. If I am sent a coin for a custom order, I cannot be held liable for intrinsic or sentimental damage to the value in case it cracks or breaks during the manufacturing process. Breaking or cracking a coin is rare, but it is the most difficult thing to go through when crafting a coin ring

Who is responsible for paying taxes/import duties or VAT on any purchases?

The buyer is responsible for paying any additional costs levied by customs or your local government. As an Independent Etsy seller I do not have the authority to collect any taxes or fees on behalf of your government. Please check with your government to find out how much you are expected to pay

How long does it take my shipment to arrive if I am ordering from another country?

The item shipped may take 3-10 days in transit depending on which part of the world it is shipping to. That being said it may take another 3-10 days to clear customs but it in rare cases customs may hold onto a shipment for 1-6 months.

Can you reduce the purchase price on the customs declaration form so I can pay a lower VAT?

I’m sorry. I cannot do this. Apart from being illegal, this action reduces my ability to claim full value if I ever need to file an insurance claim.

Why is one edge of my coin ring thicker than the other?

As you know, coins were never meant to be turned into rings. They’re a recent novelty with a wide appeal. The coins naturally have an even thickness. When someone like me starts to work on it to transform it into a ring, I have to remove a small portion of the center so that it is a donut shape. Through the transformation process, the “donut” gets folded inside out. This results in the inner part of the donut to get stretched out and the outer part of the donut gets compressed to a degree. This naturally results in a difference in thickness of the metal from one part of the ring to the other.

Ring is nicely crafted! Came with a cleaning cloth along with the pouch holder. Now I have something to polish all my other coin rings! Fits exact to size as well.
