Knit up in a brick stitch motif, this little ditty from 1945 pairs bathing trunks with a halter top. Though its made up in two pieces, a button at the center keeps things modest and can be worn as a summer onesie (or twosie, perhaps?). Featuring ties at the back and a belt around the waist, some knowledge of crochet is necessary to complete this fun project.

SIZE: To fit 33-35 inch bust; trunks to fit 37-39 inch hips; length from top of welt to lower edge of crutch, 13 inches.

YARN: 3 ply light fingering weight yarn in two colors.

NEEDLES: 2.75 mm (US 2) knitting needles and 2.5 mm (US B or C) crochet hook
