No other customizations are available beyond those provided for during the ordering process and as described above - this includes custom color mixes and applying numbers. You are welcome to alter the product after you receive it. Orders with customization requests not provided for in the listing and short deadline demands written in the checkout notes are subject to cancellation.

Lengthy but an evidently necessary update to this listing:
PROCESSING SPEED:
--> this is the time/speed during which your order is being made BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED. IT DOES NOT START UNTIL AFTER YOUR MOCKUP HAS BEEN APPROVED. It accounts for creating all of the handmade portions of the product, assembling the product, testing that the product has accurate timing AKA running the assembled clock for 24 hours, as well as my own schedule as it relates to my various other business endeavors. It varies depending on the season and my current production schedule, but is somewhat indicated by the range in the "Order today to get by..." portion of Etsy's listing template. HOWEVER, Etsy limits how specific I can be so the "Processing time" is typically set for "1 to 2 weeks". You should anticipate the latest date that is indicated for the arrival of your package, and never the earliest.

--> In general, paint/palette-type products typically take around 10-11 days to complete from the date of the order BEFORE IT IS PACKAGED FOR SHIPPING. The most common question/message I get is probably some variation of the following: "Can I get this item by [date sooner than last day indicated in the listing]? I am happy to pay for faster shipping." The answer is now going to have to be "No" UNLESS the listing allows for it in the ordering process. If the listing does not offer a faster processing speed, it is not available at this time. Paying for a faster shipping speed compensates the shipper, not the artist or artisan that has to stop working on various other projects in progress to complete an order for the same price faster. I am sorry that your order is not the only thing that I have to accomplish within a finite window of time.

--> The next common occurrence is a checkout note that says: "If possible, I need this by [date sooner than last day indicated in the listing]" which leads to my having to track down the customer in a message to state the above processing speed and either get an approval to continue or to proceed with a cancellation. That takes time that I simply do not have - especially when asked to complete an order sooner than later. All such orders will now result in an immediate cancellation if the date indicated is earlier than my processing window.

SHIPPING SPEED:
--> this is the time it takes for the shipper to get the package to you after I give them the package. You will receive an automatic notification from Etsy when your label is printed and on its way to the shipper. The shipping cost pays for your package to arrive to you in the fastest estimated time within the budget allowed, usually by USPS Priority or UPS Ground. With recent shipping price hikes, some packages farther away will have to ship via USPS Ground or UPS Ground Saver. In general, in the normal season (e.g. NOT Christmas), those services provide an unguaranteed delivery time range of 2 - 6 days depending on how far away you are from Tennessee and how far away you are from your area's shipping hub. The speed is somewhat indicated by the range in the "Order today to get by..." dates posted by Etsy when you are logged in so you should anticipate the latest date that it indicates for arrival of your package to your location. I have no control over the progress of your package once it leaves my hands. A faster shipping speed - after the processing speed indicated above - may be discussed via messages as long as you understand in advance that it generally results in no less than a minimum ADDITIONAL $40 for a 3-day "guarantee" (that the shipper is responsible to provide, not me; I just put the label on and make sure the shipper has it).

--> Your package is insured against damage during shipping by the shipper - provided I receive photos of the outside packaging and the interior of the packaging as well as the damage done to the product. A clock whose hands may have simply jostled loose during a particularly rough transit may require a conversation and the fix is typically simple — and has only occurred approximately five times in the many, many years I have made hundreds of these products. All paint/palette clocks go through a 24-hour hangs-on-my-wall-simply-being-a-clock timing test to prevent such incidences and they leave here an operable product. I do what I can to make sure it arrives to you in the same condition - but stuff can happen outside of my control and I may need your help and understanding to fix it. It is the "message" button that you want to hit in that case, not the "review" button.
