How to Wear Your Anklet There are two ways to wear your anklet: either above or below your ankle bone. To measure for this kind of anklet, wrap a string or tape measure around your leg above or below your ankle bone and add 1/4 inch to the number you get. A 9 inch anklet sizes have an 1/2 inch of adjustable length that allows the anklet to be sized between 9 - 1/2 inch in length. If the anklet pinches when you are walking, you may need to go up in size. Average Sizes The average anklet size is typically 9 or 10 inch in length. Some anklets can be made in 1/2 sizes. Please contact us if you need another sizes than what is listed.

Sterling silver does require some care to maintain the shiny silver appearance. If sterling anklets are exposed to chemicals (chlorine) or saltwater it may cause damage and it may be irreparable damage. Wearing the anklet in the shower will also speed up tarnishing. It is not a good idea to store your jewelry in the bathroom due to the excessive moisture. You can use a jewelry cleaning cloth to safely polish the silver. Dipping sterling silver into cleaner can remove the oxidization from the silver. Your jewelry will have arrived in a zip lock bag with a black anti-tarnish strip. Store your jewelry in this bag when you are not wearing them, which will slow the tarnish process.
