Bring back the memories of your perfect day with these wedding thank you cards, featuring a personalised art sketch. Your venue is illustrated in watercolour, making it the ideal final piece of your wedding stationery.

DESIGN PROCESS

Your illustration is entirely created by hand, with the line work done first with black ink, before the texture and life are added with watercolour. The style is quick, sketchy and loose - all adding to the lively detail of the artwork.(If you'd prefer a more detailed, slightly neater, portrait, please see my other listings.)

I create your custom sketch from your photos, and am happy to add in extra details (a floral display, or some special staging from your wedding) on request. I can also add a hand-lettered or typed caption beneath the image if desired: your names, wedding date, name of the venue, or your thanks.

Please send your photo(s) as soon as possible after purchasing the listing so we can get started, along with any other requests or preferences for your artwork. If you are also able to provide an address to be identified on google maps, or the venue website, that's often helpful.

I will send a scan of your sketch for your approval, and a proof of the card design before printing and am happy to rework and adjust if required to make sure they're perfect.

CARD DETAILS

Your illustration and choice of text will be digitally printed onto textured 300gsm card for a heavyweight, luxurious finish, and come complete with white envelopes. The cards measure 10.5 x 14.8cm (A6 - normal greeting card size) and can be posted with a standard size stamp in the UK. They are blank on the reverse apart from my logo and details in small print.

I can print as many cards as required - message me for prices for larger quantities.

SKETCH DETAILS

This is a hand-drawn sketch, with watercolour detail. The artworks tend to be square and roughly 14x14 cm (5.5 inches), on 300gsm heavyweight watercolour paper, although that obviously depends a bit on the dimensions of your building!

Your signed original sketch can either be unframed and packaged in a cellophane sleeve, or framed beautifully to complement the artwork. I use black or white wooden frames with off-white mounts, custom made for these sketches. The glazing is acrylic, just as clear as glass but lighter and safer to hang (and post!) Framed artworks measure approximately 25cm square.

Please check the estimated delivery date for current turnaround time - it varies depending on how busy I am! If you need your order earlier, or for a particular date, do get in touch and I'll see what I can do.

POSTAGE AND DELIVERY

Your cards will come beautifully wrapped and then safely packed to survive the post, sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce depending on the size of the package. First class mail in the UK takes 1-2 working days, and international standard to the US takes 3-11 working days. All orders over £20 are sent by recorded mail. Contact me for alternative or expedited shipping options.

I may use any illustrations, including custom orders, for other future use including, but not limited to, my social media, website and hard copy print. All identifying features (names, addresses etc) will be removed in advance. If you would prefer me not to use your custom illustration for these purposes, please contact me to discuss.

If your custom order requires me to work closely from a photo, please ensure you have copyright (it's your photo) or have requested permission from the copyright owner (for example, your wedding photographer).

Customers are responsible for thoroughly checking their print proof (particularly address details!) and I cannot take responsibility for any errors that were signed off at proof stage. If necessary, I will happily reprint as cost-effectively as possible but customers will need to bear these costs. I take full responsibility for correcting and reprinting if any errors are identified in the final product that WERE NOT present in the proof.

If I have not received the photos for your custom order by the scheduled dispatch date, I will convert your order into a Gift Voucher for redemption for the same product (regardless of price increases) in the future. The turnaround for the creation of your artwork will then depend on my workload at that point. I will always make three attempts to contact you via Etsy Message or the email address on your account prior to converting your order to a Gift Voucher.

The estimated shipping time (1-2 days for UK, 5-12 days for the rest of the world) is provided by the carrier and is usually accurate, but does occasionally take longer. On the rare occasion parcels are severely delayed or lost in transit, I will happily refund or replace once the time-frame has passed for the carrier to consider the item lost. This is usually 30 working days, but may vary. If your order arrives damaged, I will happily refund or replace as long as you contact me as soon as possible and are able provide photos of the damage to the item and/or packaging.

I ordered these to use as wedding thank-you cards. They more than exceeded my expectations. The watercolor image is gorgeous! The seller was very responsive to feedback and turned them around quickly! Not only that but they are produced on high-quality paper. These thank-you notes really made a statement with our friends and family - we received so many compliments! I just wish that the envelopes that we were provided with matched the quality level of everything else - there was nothing wrong with them per se, they just were very simple and basic which was a contrast to the thank you note.
