Pattern ONLY: Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) Joel Robinson Inspired Amigurumi Doll
Joel was launched into space by Dr. Clayton Forrester and Dr. Laurence Erhardt as part of an experiment to see which bad movies were capable of destroying the human mind. Joel was chosen simply because Forrester and Erhardt don’t like him for some reason, even though he was a competent employee.
This is the pattern I use for creating my Amigurumi Joel Robinson from Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K). This crochet pattern is written in English with U.S. crochet terms. This pattern is 12 pages of detailed instructions and images for crocheting the doll. The finished crochet doll is approximately 13″ tall.
The pattern includes many pictures of what parts of the doll should look like and comes complete with Gizmonic patch printout.
I try very hard to make sure my patterns are very thorough- I give you stitch counts for each round, tell you where to make increases and decreases, and provide lots of photos as guides. The doll is not terribly hard to make, I promise. There are a few spots that are more complex than the rest, but I wrote it out in very clear, easy to understand directions, and I’m always willing to help if you get stuck.
CROCHET SKILL LEVEL
