Nightmare Before Christmas Shoes: Handmade Cotton Knit, Non-Slip Baby Booties

We’ve been in business for over 15 years, but over the last year or so we have seen an increase in customer issues because they did not read the entire description. We have tried to make things as clear as possible so you understand exactly what you are purchasing, so please read the entire description and contact me with any questions.

Our baby shoes have been a favorite of our customers for over 15 years! One of those reasons is because our shoes stay on! Our fabric baby shoes are made from soft, breathable materials and will keep your little one's feet warm and comfortable. Soft soled shoes also allow baby's feet to grow and develop as nature intended. These are best used as indoor shoes, the fabric uppers are not durable enough to be used as outdoor play shoes. We do offer additional toe and heel support that you may purchase in a separate listing.

After many requests, we expanded our sizing to include big kid and adult sizes as well. These make great house shoes or slippers with non-slip soles. They are very soft and lightweight, so they are great for those with sensory issues. Some customers have compared them to slipper socks because they allow you to walk as you would barefoot. There is no structure to the shoes or padding in the soles. You may purchase a Cozy Upgrade in a separate listing to add natural organic cotton sherpa to the soles in place of the cotton velour. This material is thicker and should provide a little more comfort and warmth.

We designed our own patterns and have made adjustments over time to ensure the best fit. I am always happy to work with customers to create something that works for them. Each pair is cut by hand and sewn by myself. The majority of our materials are purchased from other small businesses.

Most of the sample pictures shown are size 3-6M. Larger sized shoes will show more of the fabric and the images printed on it. I always do my best to position the fabric to include any special requests, however I am constrained by the pattern size and layout of the fabric. Every pair is unique due to the handmade nature and pattern placement may vary. Please contact me with any questions or requests.

Sometimes I may need to contact you with questions about your order. If I do not receive a response within three days, I will have to cancel your order.

While I do ship internationally and understand that the cost is quite a lot, I am seeing more and more issues with packages not arriving at their destination. Please understand that as a small business, I cannot absorb the cost to replace the shoes and pay for shipping them out a second time. By placing your international order, you agree that you understand and accept the risk.

The upper materials are either French Terry, Cotton Lycra, Cotton Interlock, or Cotton Velour. This will be indicated in the “materials” section of each listing.

~Black non-slip Toughtek soles for walkers.(All sizes 6-12M and up). You may request tan Toughtek soles by leaving a note on your order.
~Gentle ankle elastic keeps these slippers on.
~Shoes have been triple stitched for durability.
~Machine washable. Dry on low, or air dry.
