I sculpted the original sculpture of this garden hippo. You will receive a rusty resin / iron casting of my work as pictured above.

You can also choose from different finishes from the drop down menu above. Including other real metal finishes that are made in a very similar way. Each type has a different type of real metal powder mixed in to the resin, either bronze, iron or stone to achieve the desired finish.

Each type of finish requires a different amount of labour and also the cost of each type of powder varies hence why the prices are different for each type. I also offer cheaper painted options for people on a lower budget.

• Cast with real iron powder mixed with resin (cold cast iron).

• Hollow cast to reduce weight for moving them around your garden.

• Real rusty finish! Not a paint effect!

• The rust patination on your hippos will vary from that seen in the pictures as this is a natural rust, but will look essentially the same.

• The rusty finish is left unsealed to create what is know as a living patina, that may continue to rust to some degree over time once you've placed your sculpture(s) in your garden.
