My items are not purchased from a wholesaler, but are created specifically for my shop in collaboration with American metal manufacturers in New England and a New England master finisher. The small, family run businesses of this region take great pride in their craftsmanship and materials, under strict supervision of U.S. metal and labor regulations. No lead, cadmium or nickel is used and all labor is fairly paid and safely conducted in highly regulated working conditions in compliance with the US Fair Labor Standards Act. Your supplies from my shop are not "off the rack," but are exclusive and unique. I am proud to offer this product to the Etsy community.

My pewter and brass are finished by one very small New England family business, not a factory. Each piece of Fallen Angel Brass is hand rubbed twice and finished with a non toxic lacquer for durability. Variations in the dark finish are by design and part of the unique Fallen Angel Brass patina. I strive for uniformity and consistency, but also value the variation that comes from the one-man process that creates my finish. With wear, my finish will age, but in a pleasing antiqued way. My brass is meant to be worn and aged further with use.
