This is a really nice pattern if you would like to make a duck. However, there are a few things with it that could have been more clear and user-friendly. The duck is really cute once you make it, but I would have really appreciated a few more photos for some of the part placement. A few lines of the instructions are also a bit trickier to understand, which might be a problem if you have only worked with super clear, hold-your-hand patterns before. However, there weren't any issues that were bad enough that I could not figure them out on my own. Due to the bulky yarn for the body (I used a doubled strand of worsted weight), it works up really fast. It really is a nice pattern, but it will not be the clearest thing you have ever worked with. Still, it's worth it to make the cute duck!

I wanted to make a plushie of my boyfriends hockey team mascot and this pattern was exactly what i needed ❤️🦆🖤 i’ve never used a crochet chart before but it was super easy to read especially with the written instructions and pictures. besides my modifications i followed the pattern completely and it came out better than i could have imagined! and his team mates loved it
