My stylish soft sole baby and toddler sneakers are perfect for little ones who are thinking about walking. Perhaps they have taken their first steps or have even mastered their run!

With a cotton canvas upper and a feather light, flexible rubber sole, this modern sneaker has your little one covered. Like all Gertrude and the King shoes, they’re machine washable (Hooray!!!) and the pull tag on the heel make them nice and easy to get on. Laces mean even the chubbiest little feet are taken care of too!

Why soft sole shoes? Recommended by Paediatricians & Podiatrists, soft sole shoes mimic bare feet and allow babies to improve their balance as well as strengthen all of those tiny muscles and toes. A firmer sole with minimal flexibility can interfere with all the hard work little feet need to do to establish their walking.

Please measure your little ones feet before ordering, do not go by age alone as every little person grows at their own pace.
