Vintage copy of The Day Hans Got His Way, the story of a couple who trade jobs for a day. Hans thinks his wife Gertrude has it easy at home while he is toiling in the fields. So, they trade jobs for a day.

Calamities ensue for Hans as he tries to manage all the work needed in the farm house!

Adapted from a traditional Norwegian folk tale. Wonderful illustrations by Debby Attwell. Signed and warmly inscribed by the author and illustrator, as shown in photo 10.
