This is the ultimate roll top: light, water-repellent, slim but roomy, easily accessible and did I say 100% water-repellent?
We decided to go full weather-proof by water-repelling the leather and the canvas.

You will have a truly everyday roll top, no matter if it rains or not, made of the finest British waxed canvas and of full grain Portuguese saddle leather. Let me tell you a few things about each of them.

THE WAXED CANVAS
The waxed canvas I use has a long history, starting from the mid 19th century, when it was first introduced in the sailing industry, due to it's waterproofing quality.
The UK factory I work with is more than 100 years old and their history overlaps with the waxed canvas history itself.

THE LEATHER
The leather comes from Alcanena, Portugal, an area with a rich tannery tradition. I visited the tannery myself to make sure that everything is fairly made and of the highest quality. And, indeed, the quality of the leather they produce for my bags is outstanding. I am proud to be partner with the best Alcanenian tannery.

Over time, both the waxed canvas and the full grain saddle leather will look nicer and nicer and develop a patina from being handled.

Still in doubt? Don’t be. I’m a returning customer (this is my fourth bag from Bogdan) and I’ve not been disappointed once. It’s an amazing backpack! Last year I purchased the green backpack from Bogdan. I absolutely loved it. But so did my wife. As a result, I wasn’t able to use it as much as I wanted. Seeing how happy my wife was with the bag and how much she used it, I decided to purchase another backpack. Bogdan was very forthcoming with some minors alterations we asked. We’re very happy with the result: -Great craftsmanship -Canbe used for work: there’s a laptop compartment and enough pockets -Friendly contact -Splendid materials (the bag really is water resistant we can tell from some unintended practical experiments) -Little adjustment we’re possible: changing the color to blue and a different belt buckle
