Handmade Poodle mug made of stoneware pottery hand-thrown on a potter's wheel. Offered in either blue, green, black or white with white, black, tan or brown poodles, with matching glaze color of the poodles on inside of mug. Pawprint on the thumb-rest at the top of the handle.

Because they are handmade, and because some prefer large or small mugs, they range in size holding between 12 to 20 ounces (from about an inch from the top), with average sizes approx. 3.5"wide at rim (belly of mug - 4") by anything under 4" of height is a 12oz SM, 14 oz Med is 4.25", 16 oz LG is 4.50" and 20 oz EXLG is 4.75" tall. Choices in sizes are offered on the order form.

Also, if you are purchasing more than one mug as a set, please let me know in the comment section provided on the order form - I usually try my best to match them size-wise anyways. And, if you are not in a hurry, ask first before ordering for it's easier to make better matches while they are in the makings.

This is a popular mug & I often struggle to keep them in stock (people sure do love their poodles! :-), so no need to ask if I'm making more because I'm always working to make more available...

Glazes are safe (lead free) for use in the microwave & dishwasher, formulated and mixed by the artist and will vary slightly as the beauty of this glaze is it's brown highlights - some will have more brown than others depending on the thickness of the glaze vs temperature of the firing in which this glaze is so sensitive, it will even vary depending on where it's placed in the kiln.

I LOVE this mug. It's beautiful and very well made. It reminds me of our Standard Poodle, Mimi, who is no longer with us. It's large, I might have ordered the smaller size, but I love it.
