West Tinworks small metal tin star topper is individually hand cut (with hand shears) waxed and meticulously punched one hole at a time. Measures 4 1/2" tip to tip, 6" top to bottom, and has a silver shiny finish to complement it's classic charming design. Sturdy but light weight - only 0.8 ounce and rendered in shiny 28 gauge USA tin-plated steel. The socket is hand soldered and adjustable. Add a light behind the star and it will shine through the hand punched design giving a warm pleasing effect.

The star is crafted from a flat piece of tin in my Fort Mill, South Carolina shop using tools that are antique and actually used by tinsmiths of early America.
