Beautiful set of 5 Nippon Hand Painted Geisha Porcelain Desert Plates / Saucers. 5 plates are available, price for a set.
Very nice Japanese fine eggshell porcelain small plates, hand decorated with "River's Edge Scene" pattern with geisha girl, a child and japanese landscape. The fine eggshell porcelain is delicate and thin, you can see light through it, the colors bright and gilt as no rubbing, scratches or wear. Lovely antique plates for dessert or appetizer to add an oriental touch to a tea serving!

Perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Signed with Nippon gold mark on the back. Ca 1940s -1950s.
