With hand-cut lace details between the Art Nouveau inspired leaves and dogwood flowers, the Rebecca Lace Guitar Strap has a delicate, yet durable, beauty. This handmade leather guitar strap is a great fit for any instrument. This guitar strap will work with both acoustic and electric guitars.

I start with a tooling leather and then brand, paint, and dye it, and then apply a protective coat to keep it safe from the elements. The colors are colorfast and permanent, and because I use the highest quality tooling leather the strap will soften as you use it and it will last for a lifetime.

STRAP OPTIONS: See the last photo for the two layouts.
Option 1 (top): Symmetrical strap, adjustable at both ends. Can be used with banjo, guitar, bass, or dobro. Adjusts from 45-58"
Option 2 (bottom): Tapered at one end. This strap works best for guitars. Adjusts from 38" to 52".
PLEASE SPECIFY which option you'd like when ordering. All orders not specified will be made as Option 2. You can use a little leather tie to attach it to the head of the instrument on guitars that have only one strap pin.

All of my pieces use premium grade vegetable tanned leather (or "Veg-tan"). Vegetable tanning uses botanical products (such as tree bark) to turn the material from hide to leather. It is one of the older tanning methods and takes about a month to complete the process. Because natural materials are involved, it is a much more eco-friendly process than chromium tanning (or "chrome tan" which is what most clothing, handbags and accessories are made from).

Vegetable tanned leather does require a little bit of breaking in, and the best way to do this is just use the piece! Movement of the leather and the oils from your skin will start to soften it immediately. Once you've experienced a Moxie & Oliver piece you'll be hooked!
