Highlights
This 22x28 cm (8.66x11.02 inches) flat gessoed icon board is made of good quality linden wood with solid wedge and opposed oak struts, inserted in the back.
It is carefully prepared for painting according to all the requirements of the tradition – two coats of hot hide glue, then gluing linen, then 12 layers of gesso made after classical recipe, proven in ages. The smooth painting surface is perfectly suitable for using the egg tempera technique.
Special attention is paid to the sanding process.

Thank you! This is high quality
As always, great boards. I can't wait to work with them. Thank you.
Amazing quality!
My icon boards are exquisite. They came beautifully packaged, the quality of the boards are incredible. Since I do iconography, I plan to buy more boards from this company. These boards are even better than what I saw in the pictures. I will not go anywhere else to buy gesso boards. This company has my business!
