💗MY RAKU POTTERY STUDIO
In my lab, in addition to pottery creation, I carry on a continuous experimentation, on glazes recipes, processing techniques, color effects, and post-firing processes, with a scientific and rational approach. My goal is to keep on expanding the spectrum of new creative possibilities and to refresh the excitement and fun day after day.
Every piece of my store is designed, made, finalized and packaged by me, including glazes (all lead-free). The realization of a piece lasts around 3 weeks.
Raku pottery is a fascinating and exciting technique. It differs from traditional ceramics mainly for the last firing phase that takes place in a living flame, where fire, smoke, water, oxygen or the lack of oxygen come into play to create unique and unrepeatable chromatic effects.
