We process and ship every order as soon as possible via USPS. For most items, we ship within 5 days and you should receive your project in less than 2 weeks .

Heavier items may ship via FedEx but the delivery timing should be similar - ship within 5 days, receipt in about 2 weeks.

Some orders, such as fresh pours and custom orders, may require more time to fulfill. If so, we will ALWAYS communicate that with you.

In some cases, we may be able to expedite shipping, so please let us know if you need an order by a special date. We will see what we can do!

We also offer combined shipping. If you are ordering more than one item, message us before you check out for an adjusted shipping fee.

We like to throw extra little goodies in our packages.

We don't take requests, but you are likely to find a surprise in your next order, such as a small paintable item. Because life is short, so it might as well be fun!

Accidents happen. While we do endeavor to get your order to you whole and intact, sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. Send us a picture of the broken item and the packaging as it came and we will either replace the item or give your money back. Simple as that. And you can keep the free gift. Because FREE.

Owen carefully mixes dry earthenware clay powder in a special mixing table with water and other additives to achieve the delicate balance of slip perfect for casting. He pours teach mold by hand, one by one , watching them carefully to catch them at the perfect time when the pieces are thick enough to remove from the mold, but not too heavy and cumbersome. This is an all day process. He delicately removes each piece from the mold and sets it out to dry, quickly cleaning any rough edges and attaching add-ons. This is also the perfect time to customize or alter the pieces into piggy banks or votives. Finally, he heats the ceramics in the kiln to a cone 06 (1828°F) overnight and then allows them to slow-cool. Now they are ready for decoration!

Bisque surfaces will welcome many kinds of coverage from craft paints to Mod-Podge, from gold foil to spray paint, or even glitter! You can brush them, sponge them, spray them - your imagination is your only limit. As common sense indicates, follow instructions for each kind of media for best results. (Keep in mind that crafted items will not be food safe. We do offer glazing services that may be helpful in this area.)

If you have access to a kiln, you can also explore using glazes, under glazes, and lusters to finish your pieces.

Unless otherwise indicated, most of the items in our shop have been created using low-fire earthenware clay slip and fired to cone 04. It is our recommendation that low-fire glazes or underglazes (such as Duncan Cover-Coat, Concepts or Envision glazes) be used. Follow the cone guidelines for whatever glaze that you choose.

The majority of the products in our shop were either made by slip casting or built from clay by hand and fired in our studio. Occasionally, we might add a bisque item that was slip cast and fired by a third party to round out our seasonal offerings. As a craft supply, this is well within the terms of use for Etsy, but we thought you might like to know the difference. If an item in our shop was not made in our studio, we will indicate this in our description, so that you can make a fully informed decision as you consider your purchase.

You can't buy love, but you can buy handmade! The bulk of our products are made in our studio - hand poured, hand thrown, hand crafted. And we are passionate about our hand made one of a kind pottery. Being handmade means they will not look like they came off an assembly line - each pot will retain and reflect the maker's touch in one way or another. Each work of love will have unique features and we work hard to make sure that all of our photos clearly represent the beauty in all it's glory. Before you adopt a pot, take time to really get to know it. Things that one person might call a flaw other's might call a feature but most importantly, we really want you to love your purchase!

We do not accept returns as a policy, except in the case of breakage etc. Exceptions would be rare, and on a case by case basis. Be aware that there would be a restocking fee of approximately 1/2 of the shipping fees. We can not afford to lose shipping fees without raising our prices dramatically. Any refunds would not occur until after the package is received at our location. But we hope this never happens because we want our customers to be happy!
