This is a beautiful authentic vintage coat from the 70's found hanging in the back of a closet at a recent estate sale. It is a long, tall, beauty, from a day in age when leather and suede were king. I has a very vintage 70's feel to it, with some subtle color variations. it is lovely deep chocolate brown. It has been altered by having a fur collar sewn in. There is no doubt that this real fur, and we are almost certain that it is mink. The collar is nicely done and has a felt body. The fur collar could likely be removed if you don't care for it. The coat is a long, below the knee length, and has 3 matching suede covered buttons and 2 lined pockets. It has a beautiful satiny lining, which is in good condition without rips tears or obvious staining. I do not believe there is any lining or insulation in between the coat and the lining. It has a kickpleat in back for ease of walking.

There are no tags in this item. To ensure a good fit, please take the time to compare the measurements noted below to an item that fits you well. Please note all measurements are taken flat.
Length: 40" long
Sleeve length: 22"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 19.5"
Bust: 42"
Waist: 40"

Condition: light normal wear to the typical areas; around pockets, sleeves, front of coat. There is a 3.5" rip in the seam above the kickplate. This is a clean rip on the seam that can easily be repaired by yourself or a seamstress or tailor shop. There is no rip to the material itself, only on the seam stitching. Overall, I would characterize this coat as being in good vintage condition. There is tons of wear left in it.

I no longer dry clean items due to the myriad of allergies and chemical sensitivities that people suffer from (myself included). Once you receive your purchase and have a chance to look it over, you can decide if any professional cleaning is necessary, and chose the method that would work best for you.
