Epiphyllum Orchid Cactus, Flat Strap, Thornless Flowering Cactus

The Epiphyllum Flat Strap Orchid Cactus has broad, flat, leaf-like stems scalloped on the edges, strung together by a woody mid-vein.
Although it is called the “epiphyllum orchid cactus” it is not an orchid, but yet is a cactus. Like an orchid, the epiphyllum lives as an epiphyte. But is not parasitic! It sustains itself by absorbing moisture and nutrients from the air instead of from the vegetation on which it fastens.
These are the most majestic of hanging plants, easy to handle, and include a group of miniature or basket varieties.
Flowers emerge with a red outer layered stem that opens with flower having long thin white petals.
Potted in 4" plastic plant pot

With multiple quantity of this live species, it is not possible to upload a photo of every plant/flower.
Pictures posted in listing, are from current stock of species listed.
This plant is alive, and may change visual appearance over time.
The plant you will receive, may differ from pictures in listing.
