REFUNDS/RETURNS: We accept returns only if the item was grossly misrepresented in it's description or condition, as the majority of items sold are vintage & antique, signs of wear and in some cases heavy use will be present. Refunds would be given only if item is not as described or if there were some substantial error our part. Every effort is made to accurately describe any and all relevant condition issues both with the written word as well as numerous high resolution photos. If you have additional questions on an item not show in a photo or in writing, please contact us for further description. If your item is received damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with the insurer. Retain the original package.

DAMAGE/INSURANCE CLAIMS: In the unlikely event that your item arrived damage, please contact us so that I may initiate an insurance claim on your behalf, we usually ALWAYS insure breakables just to be on the safe side. Photos of the broken/damaged item(s) are required to initiate an insurance claim. Please do not return broken glass, porcelain or ceramic as it poses a safety risk. IMPORTANT - For broken or damaged items, please retain all ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIALS until the insurance claim is finished in order to be in compliance with USPS, FedEx & UPS Policies. USPS Priority Mail insurance claims are filed online at www.usps.com using the tracking number from your package label.

Conditions of return: Buyers are responsible for the return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Integrity in what we sell is very important to us. With every listing we provide pictures and descriptions along with disclosure of any imperfections or damage to the best of our knowledge. Custom and personalized orders

We ship USPS as our preferred method depending on package size. All items are shipped USPS First Class or Priority, depending on weight, and all domestic packages include Delivery Confirmation. All orders of $50 or more, domestic or international, require insurance. Insurance (if required) will be included in your shipping cost(s). On heavy, larger items, FedEx or UPS shipping is another option we may consider.

Custom and personalized orders

All sales are Final, sold as is, no refunds. This is a marketplace with vintage items. Do not expect your items to be in perfect condition unless otherwise stated. Whenever possible, shipping will be combined to be the least expensive for you. Shipping for oversized items cannot be combined with other items due to the size and weight of the box. Depending on size and weight of item, combined shipping will be provided with an updated shipping costs reflecting multiple items.

Custom and personalized orders

Orders returned due to incorrect address information entered by the purchaser will be refunded minus the cost of the return shipping. If the buyer still wishes to receive the order, it will be re-shipped after purchaser has paid both the return postage and cost of re-sending. If your order is left unclaimed, either with the carrier or with customs, and is returned to the seller, a refund will be given minus the cost of return shipping and any damage to the item. If an unclaimed purchase is returned in unsalable condition, no refund will be given.

FOR KNIVES… Buyers must consult their local, state or country laws before placing an order. It is the responsibility of the buyer, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and or use, of any item, purchased. The buyer is asserting that he or she is of legal age and that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner. If there is an issue with a purchase please contact us, We always strive to please our customers. If a return is warranted, it must be initiated within 3 days of receiving the item, Please retain the original packing materials and returned it in the same condition as it was received. Re-pack the item the way it had arrived. Buyer pays return shipping. We will send you a mailing address for shipping back to us.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items will be packed with the utmost care and consideration. In order to save you money, we prefer to use the USPS unless an item is too large. Items will ship within 3 business days of receipt of payment unless otherwise notified about vacation. Unless otherwise discussed all packages will ship USPS priority mail. Priority mail offers free insurance for up to a $100 value. If your item is damaged or lost while in transit it is up to you, the buyer, to initiate the claim process with the Post office or Fedex. It will also be up to you to provide all information, packing materials and damaged goods including photos to us and the post office where requested. The claims process is often quick but can also take months for closure.

Vintage from before 1700
Materials: iron

Very rare solid iron Halberd tomahawk. Circa 1650 to 1700. Earliest form of tomahawk made for use for the Native Americans by the colonialists. Only made for 50 year period from mid 1600s to beginning of 1700s. Mostly found in New York and New England area. Has some deep chips along the blade edge showing use & some blunt force impacts. Only a hand full of these exist and not many photos are available of others like it. I've only been able to locate two photos of similar ones on original tomahawk websites and in reference books.

Blacksmith forged. Center shaft and long spear point are one piece with the cutting as blade and small spike section forged onto center shaft. This was a common method of forging these halberd tomahawks. Cutting blade is too thin to use as a cutting as a tool. These were given to chiefs of tribes as a symbol of their authority. I picked this up from a 90+ year old woman in an area on the border of Tennesee and Kentucky, it was from her husband who had passed away. You won't see another one like it anytime soon!
