Aged look parchment paper measures 5" wide by up to 12" long and will accommodate about 1,200 - 2,000 characters depending on spacing and font style, or about half a page of a letter size document.

Copyright Issues
It is against the law to commercially reproduce copyright protected wording without legal permission. My scrolls are not priced to include time to research and ascertain whether the wording sent is in the public domain, has expired copyright, or active copyright by someone else, such as a "Celtic blessing", lyrics, poem, an Irish song, prayer, scripture, movie script, military oath, or Biblical quote. The custom printed scrolls I sell are strictly for wording authored by person placing the order. I will not print obscenity, racist, discriminatory or derogatory messages.

Customization
To customize, add your final, complete and proofread wording to the personalization text box or Notes to seller when placing the order. Text box accepts a maximum of 1024 characters only - if your wording is longer, send it as text in a single Etsy Message. Wording must be submitted as text that can be directly copied as such. Once a custom layout is provided, the scroll can only be exchanged for a blank scroll- the order will not be canceled for a full refund.

A digital layout will be sent to you in Etsy Messaging. Please reply within 24 hrs with your approval or changes. Listing includes one round of edits to initial layout, and will take 1 extra business day. For any changes to wording, please resubmit complete, edited wording. I will not edit single words or sentences, I only offer to redo entire layout. If no approval/changes are received within 24 hrs, we will proceed with production based on layout already sent.

I do not proofread, edit, remove/add spacing. I only format the text to fit the design. Please send ALL customization instructions when the order is placed, or within 24 hours through Etsy Messaging, separated from your wording, such as names of font style(s) and colors you would like to use from included charts, otherwise formatting will be as sample pictured. Font/size/spacing/any other instructions embedded in your wording will not be edited out. Do not send emojis -the "X" that replaces them for most fonts will not be edited out. Do not "format" text with the addition of extra spaces or tabs in an effort to send text as "centered"- it will only throw off formatting. Wording on scrolls will be centered unless otherwise requested.

All caps can be hard to read in script style fonts. Light colors for text can be hard to read. If wording submitted is considerably longer than what is recommended, font size will be reduced to fit all text.

Pricing is for an item similar to sample pictured. Listing is not priced to include retyping text sent as a picture or as a handwritten note, to follow a link, to open and follow any attachments, to add any images (photos, logos, illustrations), for extensive font style changes, lining up bullets, formatting multiple columns of text for part of the wording, adding/removing extra space, using special characters (icons, emoticons) or any other complex formatting. I do not offer an extra charge to accommodate complex formatting at this time. Please limit the number of messages sent to the minimum required and read the description- I am a one person shop offering handmade customized scrolls at an extremely reasonable price. I simply cannot offer this service if I need to keep track of a dozen messages for a single scroll. If you need a layout more complex than what is pictured, please do not purchase.

Production Process
"Ship by Date" reflects production schedule. Expected delivery date and price is as provided by Etsy/USPS once the scroll is in a cart and shipping speed to a zipcode is selected. For faster delivery, upgrade shipping. Rush production or overnight shipping are not offered.

Items will ship on the "Ready to ship by" date provided when order is placed. Item should be expected by last "estimated" day of delivery as communicated by Etsy based on your delivery zipcode and shipping speed chosen. Delivery days are estimates subject to actual delivery by USPS.

Each round of changes, extra time needed for approval, or a qty of more than 1 listing will add 1 or more days to production; ship by date will be adjusted.

Orders will not be refunded if shipped on time but delivered late. Only USPS Express is a guaranteed day delivery and it is not offered at this time. All other days are estimates. Delivery delays do happen - please plan accordingly.

Updating address/shipping speed is not possible once order is placed.

Each listing comes with a detailed description of what is included. Please inquire if a quantity you need is not available.

Extras are not included- please do not ask for an image to be added to a scroll, for a box instead of a tube, a brooch if not part of the listing. Please inquire about all extras before ordering.

Each customizable listing includes a digital proof and one/two round(s) of changes, unless otherwise specified. Any additional rounds of edits would be at an additional cost.

I am happy to answer all question about issues not already covered in my detailed descriptions and FAQs - please only ask questions not already covered. As a one person shop with a multitude of orders any given day, my time is very limited.

It is not possible for me to guarantee a date of arrival since I am not responsible for extra rounds of edits requested, delays in providing info or approval, observed holidays, or delivery delays by carrier. So please do not ask me to guarantee delivery.

Ready to ship by dates cannot be shortened to meet a tighter deadline. I do not offer to rush last minute orders, or guarantee a delivery date before last estimated date as provided by Etsy. Delays do happen. Delivery dates are estimates only.

Please do not ask me to rush your order free of charge, then criticize me for lack of "kindness" or "customer service" if I do not. If the Etsy provided last day of delivery does not work for you, please don't order.

Please follow customization instructions in description. Retyping handwritten text, completing info, proofreading, removing text that should not be printed, changing all caps to lower case, removing extra spaces and/or tabs is NOT included. I only format the wording -size text to fit, align it, and apply color/font styles. All customization info including font/color choices should be separate from wording to be printed.
Formatting considerably more complex than the sample pictured is not included in pricing.
Please send complete and final wording as text I can copy/paste in a single Message or note. Attachments will not be opened.

I will not print obscenity, racist, discriminatory or derogatory messages. No exceptions.

Customized items are non-returnable/non-refundable. Not accepting delivery/having an item returned to sender is considered an unauthorized return - no refund will be issued. If you are not around for delivery or have issues with delivery please contact your local USPS/UPS before contacting me. If wrong address was used please try to "intercept" while en route. Once it is returned, expect to pay to reship.

I'd be happy to set-up a custom listing for a quantity I do not have listed. Invitations have a minimum of 10 except for large boxed invitations which have a minimum of 25. Invitation sets are sold in increments of 5. A listing created just for you will be listed for one week after your request, after which it will be deactivated - please only request the listing if you are ready to order within a couple of days. Due to current material shortages, shipping delays and frequent price increases, estimates provided for quantity pricing will be guaranteed for 1 month only, after which they are subject to price changes and/or availability of materials. Once an order is placed, it cannot be held for more than 2 weeks beyond scheduled ship by date.

Custom made items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
If your wording must be changed please do so before layout is approved by you. Once the layout is approved, it is not possible to change the wording or cancel production. If no approval is provided/there is no communication, your order will be shipped with the layout as sent to you for approval. Refund will not be offered.

If the item arrives visibly damaged, please do not accept it and submit a complaint with USPS. For all other damages I will need a signed affidavit and the item sent back. I will not issue a refund but I will exchange the damaged item.

Your item will be remade if I make a mistake - please let me know right away so I can correct it promptly.

My listings are priced to include what is detailed in the description. Please do not ask for extras. If you do need something different, please ask before placing the order, so I can consider your request, point you to a different listing, or set up a new listing accordingly - without the added work of having to cancel an order and issue a refund because I am unable to offer what you request.

Because Etsy has changed its policies on protecting sellers with orders totaling above $250, regardless if it is a delivery delay due to shipper, customer providing wrong address, item arriving damaged, or any other issues that are clearly not the seller's fault, I no longer offer the option to place orders that would total over $250, with shipping and taxes added (Etsy collects taxes, but it still counts towards total). Very nice! The quality of paper is slightly cheaper than expected. They do have you confirm the proof before sending to print but I had hoped they would make some common sensical judgments on the spacing in line #2. The sentence was too long and it printed awkwardly in one area. Don't expect any professional edits, be very clear even if it takes multiple messages and proofs to get it right. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I am sorry you were unhappy with the end product. I did receive 5 slightly different versions of the wording over the span of 8 days, the reason for the many (18) messages back/forth. Layout was done once the fourth version was sent to me. Then another wording edit and a font change was requested and a second layout sent to accommodate those requests. Printing was done based on 2nd layout. No changes (edit to 2nd line) were requested. "Professional edits" are not included in this customized handmade scroll selling for less than $20, as stated in the description: "Please send final, proofread and complete wording in a single Message...I do not proofread or edit, I only format the text to fit in the layout." Paper is parchment as stated. It only comes in 2 weights. I wish you well.
