As described, this cozy is 100% knitted wool in a dark, warm grey. It is easy to slip over the pot after brewing and secure with the button closure at the base of the handle. I have a 2-teacup pot and this cozy keeps the tea warm for just long enough. It came packaged thoughtfully--one of those items that has "good vibes on arrival." I would buy it again. I didn’t read the description thoroughly enough so it was smaller than I expected, but I was able to block it larger on my teapot before I handed it off to my mom for her friend.

While the workmanship on this item is excellent, the description is inaccurate. If an item is described as being 8 inches in length, and it is half that, it makes it impossible to make a purchase accurately. It also won’t fit your tea pot if you’re looking for a cozy that is 8 inches in length. This will only fit a very tiny teapot. There was no willingness on the part of the seller to rectify the problem.
