Custom orders are very welcome!

Since my - specifically french mattress - cushions are all handmade, the sizes go up until the inch, not smaller. So, no orders in for example 6.3/4 inch or 5.2/8 inch....this does not work with french mattress edges and tufted cushions because it gets scrunched up.

Sizes are measured and fabric is cut according to the agreed size. For French mattress cushions, the cushion as a whole can become smaller due to the scrunching up nature of French mattress hand stitching. (1 cm is allocated for seams)

I try my very best to be as close as I can get to the ordered size but please bear in mind that it is handwork!

Since I need to allocate a time slot for each project, and since I do everything myself, it is sometimes difficult to keep to the time slot when 2 or more cushions are ordered at the same time. Of course I need more time to make 2 cushions than 1 cushion. This is specifically the case for the french mattress and/or tufted cushions who are very time consuming to make.
So, in some case, I will be forced to delay the shipping of orders.

It is very hard to put a time on how long the order will ship. I have therefore set my shipping times at the longest, but often it will take less time than mentioned in my estimated shipping times. Of course, customs can delay the shipping times considerably - but this happens sometimes, not everytime. So be patient; orders very rarely dissapear and get lost, but sometimes are delayed. This is normal in international shipping. I will help after shipping to track and follow up as much as I can, but delays do happen - and are not my fault

If you are not sure about the fabric for your order, ask for a sample. I do not have all of the dutch heritage fabrics in stock but I can send a sample in for example a different color - so you get to see and feel the quality.
For linen, I can send samples if needed

If you have a set date and need your order delivered before this event date, do not blame me if your order arrives late. The only thing I can do is make sure it gets shipped out in time - after that, it is no longer in my hands. Weather conditions, customs, holidays and strikes are often the reason for delays in delivery.
The only thing that can be done is to give yourself plenty of time when ordering!

Once fabric or ribbon has been cut as per order it cannot be returned

Orders such as kaftans can always be returned to us if the buyer is within the EU. Please notify us first, so you will receive a correct return address
For orders outside the EU, a return is not possible. This is because we, as seller, need to pay import duty on our own items being returned. This makes the cost price of a return too expensive.
But please communicate with us if you are not happy with the item you ordered. We try our very best
A buyer has two weeks after receiving the order to notify us of any defects!
