This red lidded butter dish features a wonderful design that includes wheel thrown porcelain clay with hand built features. The artistic design and the rich red glaze on this make quite the statement for your table setting.

The lid measures 4" high x 5" wide x 6".5 long and the tray is 8" x 6" x 1"....plenty large for most any size stick of butter. The opening to hold the butter is 3.5" x 6".

It's very durable and may be cleaned in the dishwasher and used in the microwave, too, (if you want to soften some butter.)

It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. I’m going to have a very difficult time using this butter dish because covering the cow on the plate is tragic!! What a great piece of work! I just love this shop. It’s a place where collections start..\
