A fabulous vintage 3D pewter and enamel starfish pin brooch. The silver tone starfish is very lifelike, with the little nodules arranged to realistically resemble a starfish. What is particularly gorgeous about this vintage starfish brooch is that the craftsman making it has covered the top with an iridescent almost glistening blue and green enamel - like the colour of the ocean or deep blue sea. It is very well made and very unusual. The pewter patina is lovely. The glittering iridescence captured in the enamel is hard to photograph. No one else will have one like this.

Has a secure roll over safety clasp fastening and the pin is particularly long at 5 cm (2 in). A fabulous Ocean themed Costume jewellery item.

The pewter and enamel vintage starfish brooch is 6.5 x 6.5 cm (2 ½ x 2 1/2 in) high. It feels solid and good quality.
