Bowmonts are a sheep developed in Scotland for fine fibre, and has merino like qualities.
I have developed this yarn from my favourite blend of alpaca and Bowmont to produce a light, soft yarn with the vey best of these 2 fibres for that luxury feel. In skeins, handwashed 50g approx each. Will take dyes beautifully.
Spun at a heritage mill in Scotland this is a limited edition yarn.
Your purchase not only helps maintain these special sheep but also helps support small mill spinning in remote Scotland.
