Is every avocado necklace one of a kind?

Absolutely! I try to look at each avocado pit carving as an opportunity to do something new. Even if I repeat similar designs, each pit dries differently, resulting in different colors, shades, and markings. Additionally, each mounted stone varies in color, size, and shape. You can rest assured that your necklace is truly unique.

I suggest handling all my hand-carved avocado pit necklaces with care. The wax polish I use will make the wood more resistant to water, but it is not waterproof, and exposure to water may cause it to warp and crack. Additionally, too much light or heat or chemical exposure may damage it. If your necklace does get wet, wipe off the water immediately and allow to air dry in the open. If you notice your pendant looking dry or faded, apply a skin-safe oil to bring back its sheen and color. I used a combination of orange oil and beeswax.

This is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind necklace. Cut from the pit, or stone, of an avocado, this pendant features a white tumbled river stone at its center. It's the perfect necklace for those who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style.

I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. I then mounted a river stone in the center. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil.

The necklace cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied two slip knots, so you can adjust the necklace to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 15.5 inches in length (about 31 inches total). Tightened, it measures 7.5 inches (about 15 inches total).

To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope.
