How do I send handwriting, a fingerprint, artwork, or another image for engraving?

Upload your image through Etsy using the instructions provided in the individual listing. Clear, high quality images produce the best results. I can work with handwriting, signatures, fingerprints, paw prints, children’s artwork, logos, icons, graphics, and many photographs.

How long does it take to make my order?

Most orders are made and ready to ship within a few days, typically 2-3. This is production time and does not include the time your package spends in transit with USPS. My current production time can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LoraDouglasJewelry/policy?ref=shopinfo_policies_leftnav

When will my order arrive?

Your estimated delivery date includes both my current production time and USPS transit time. I ship orders promptly, but delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees because USPS transit is outside of my control once a package has been accepted.

Will I receive a proof before my item is engraved?

Proofs are not automatically sent for every order. I will send a proof when engraving instructions need clarification or if a change needs your approval before engraving. If I contact you about your artwork, please reply promptly so your order is not delayed.

Can I send you an item I already own to have it engraved?

No. My equipment and setup require me to work with materials and items that I know are compatible with my engraving process. I am unable to accept customer supplied jewelry, keepsakes, or other finished items for engraving.

Can I change my personalization after I place my order?

If I have not started your order yet, I may be able to make a change. Send me an Etsy message as soon as possible with the requested correction. Because personalized orders are often made quickly, changes cannot be guaranteed once production has begun.

Can you guarantee delivery by a specific date?

No. I can tell you when I expect to have your order completed and shipped, but I cannot guarantee a USPS delivery date. If you need an item for a particular event or deadline, please consider both production and transit time before ordering.

- If ordering a Bible verse, type the entire verse exactly as you want it engraved. Entering only the scripture reference will engrave only the reference. For example, if you enter "Proverbs 3:5-6" your bookmark will say "Proverbs 3:5-6"

Because these are machine-engraved, most text can be sized to fit. Keep in mind the more text added, the smaller the lettering becomes.
