The item you receive will be a high quality digital print of my original artwork on high-quality canvas. This unique, colorful print of my original painting is a SEMI original artwork. After printing, I detail and enhance each piece using fresh metallic gold ink pen, and if needed, fresh color ink pens to add depth and texture. No two pieces are alike. Each piece is then gallery wrapped by hand. (Gallery wrapping is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that it wraps firmly around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and is secured from behind with staples) The item will also feature my discreetly placed original handwritten signature.

Meaning:

“The Creation of the Persian Empire” is an abstract visionary painting based on the three basic principles of humanity from 4,000 years ago in Persia. One should practice Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds. Zoroastrians believe in one omniscient God, called "Ahura Mazda," or "Farivahar, meaning "Wise Lord." Ahura Mazda is the beginning and the end, the creator of everything which can and cannot be seen, the eternal, the pure, and the only truth..

Symbols:

This painting depicts the moment that Ahura Mazda created the universe. Iran’s map and a few artifacts from ancient times represent the rich culture of that period of time. The bull head column is a reminder of Persepolis. Fire represents the light of God, as well as the illuminated mind. Zoroastrians believe that fire is The supreme symbol of purity, and that maintain sacred fires in fire temples. All Zoroastrian rituals and ceremonies are performed in the presence of this sacred fire.

History:

The writing at the top of the painting is in Old Persian cuneiform and a semi-alphabetic cuneiform script that was the primary script for the Old Persian language. They were mostly inscriptions from the time period of Darius the Great and his son Xerxes. The writing calligraphy is in Farsi and translated into English.

The depth of meaning that underlies this beautiful piece of art is what attracted me to it and I have to say as I unrolled the canvas, my heart skipped a beat (or two)! Fariba’s work is sensational and she stayed in touch with me through. Couldn’t recommend her and this piece of art more. MERCI Fariba jaan xx
