The resulting thick layer of gold means it is durable, top quality, and just a step down from solid gold. Gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime and is great for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
• Gold plated jewelry is dipped in a solution that contains gold and is zapped with an electric current. Our 16kt gold plated jewelry consists of a layer of 16kt gold on top of a brass core. Our gold plated jewelry is great quality and should not tarnish if cared for properly. In order to keep your gold plated jewelry shiny, we recommend removing before showering/swimming, and avoiding the use of oils/sunscreen.
